A truly royal scale and luxury worthy of Louis XIV, known as Sun King - that's what Versailles. It was conceived as a simple hunting lodge, but the monarch's whim turned it into a magnificent residence. The architectural ensemble includes many palaces, huge hundred hectares parks, magnificent fountains, flowerbeds and garden sculptures. You will see the huge halls and luxury apartments, private apartments of the King and those of the Dauphin (son of Louis XV) and his wife, the decoration of which is preserved since their epoch.
